Susanna Lutton, MPH, CLE, LCCE, has a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis on maternal and child health. After several years of working in health education, she completed the lactation educator certification program at UCLA and co-founded the Breastfeeding Support Center with Sharon Watkins. In 2003, Susanna “retired” from her position as the Director of Wellness Services at Beach Cities Health District to enjoy life as a stay-at-home mom.
After experiencing the amazing journey to motherhood herself, Susanna was inspired to become a childbirth educator and was certified through Lamaze International. She currently teaches prenatal classes at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center and Bright Beginnings and Beyond in Redondo Beach.
Susanna strongly believes that expectant parents who are educated on the birth process and are given the opportunity to have all their questions answered are better prepared to make informed decisions and enter parenthood with confidence.
